For better or worse — and usually it’s for worse — our early sexual experiences shape a lot of our deep inner fears, pitfalls and insecurities about sex as adults.

What guy doesn’t love a good blow job? Unfortunately, conventional wisdom has it that women hate giving them. And, indeed, many women do. As with most sexual escapades, it all boils down to the person, chemistry and the heat of the moment. Sex is all timing and confidence. That said, to get the world-class blow job you so desire, there are a few things to remember about overall preferences of women. Because, yes, everything’s better when you’re both enjoying yourselves. It is definitely worth it to you to ensure you’re giving her the best shot at having a decent time down south.

Let’s Go Back In Time For A Second

Remember when you were young, awkward and just starting to learn about sex? Your penis wasn’t what it is today, sex lasted about 50 seconds and your kissing skills were comparable to those of a goldfish. Remember that terrible time? We have all been there. For better or worse — and usually it’s for worse — our early sexual experiences shape a lot of our deep inner fears, pitfalls and insecurities about sex as adults. In high school, many girls felt pressure to give blow jobs whether they wanted to or not, as a logical precursor to having intercourse. For that reason, a lot of women associate giving a beej to feeling somewhat powerless. Some of us get over it; some of us don’t. Just remember that, and don’t be afraid to talk to your partner.

The Whole Gag Issue

Some girls have the whole gag issue with blow jobs. Personally, I think that the gag reflex thing is 90% mental, but there are ways to overcome this. Overcoming the gag reflex issue is not a 20-minute process, so this doesn’t really apply to your one-night stands. However, if your beloved girl is having issues with gagging, here are a few tips.

First, try having her start when you are fairly hard. I know this seems crazy, but there is less pressure and she can experiment with you in other ways now that the focus is not on making you super hard. Giving good head is a skill and it takes sex-positive thinking and trust with your partner to master.

Second, do not be forceful. Remove your hands from her head, neck or shoulders, and let her be in control.

Third, mind your come. Some women are really against swallowing, and half the gag issue is the fear of when the head swells before you ejaculate. When you are close to climaxing, suggest she finish you another way (and, as we know, there are many). Come somewhere else. Her mouth is not the only place for your semen. Next Page >>
