Admit it, just when you finally came around to the idea of squeezing your rippling thighs into a pair of pipe-cleaner skinny jeans, you found yourself burning them along with your Kings of Leon albums, matching some tapered chinos with a tweed blazer instead.
And trailing in the wake of the giant denim-destroying conquest of brightly coloured slim-leg chinos, is the altogether different wide leg trouser.
A catwalk staple of 2012, expect to see your most-loved retailer stocking a range of wide leg pants this year. But, we know, you’ve been burned with blink-and-you’ll-miss-it trends before, right?
